My PhD background is in large scale glacier modelling focused on glacier-ocean interactions. I used to work at the Climate LAB research group in the University of Bremen (Germany) developing a calving parametrisation for the Open Global Glacier Model written in Python. I also have master's degree in marine science from the University of Southampton. Now as part of the Surface Processes Group, I will be delivering research in the area of marine surface climate, including the development and evaluation of data and data products related to air-sea interaction. With my experience on large scale modelling I hope to contribute to the development of global scale meteorological products that will help construct long climate records.
