Call for abstracts opens for the Marine Autonomy & Technology Showcase 2020

The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) is calling for abstract submissions for the 2020 Marine Autonomy and Technology Showcase (MATS 2020).

Building upon the success of MATS 2019, this year’s event is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 10 November to Thursday 12 November at the NOC’s Southampton site.

Record breaking year for the NOC’s marine technology showcase

Last week, NOC hosted the Marine Autonomy and Technology Showcase 2019 (MATS2019) in Southampton, which was the fifth annual event focusing on the present and future of marine autonomous technology.

MATS2019 was our biggest and best showcase to date, with a record number of attendees, presenters and industry exhibitors, all packed into our giant dockside marquee.

Last week saw the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) host its third Marine Autonomy and Technology Showcase (MATS) at the Southampton waterfront site.

The three-day event included 50 keynote and technical presentations describing the latest developments in marine robotic technology, and provided an effective forum for networking and discussion between delegates.
