Are You Curious About Working in Ocean Science or Engineering?
In partnership with Creative Tuition Collective we will be delivering a six-day Virtual Work Experience Programme, providing a unique opportunity to develop career skills while working alongside world-leading marine scientists and engineers.
This entirely virtual programme will take place on Zoom, and is open to UK residents aged 14-19. Applications for the August course are now closed. Please revisit this page in the autumn for details of any future courses.
Key Information
When: Wednesday 5th August - Wednesday 12th August 2026 (weekdays only)
Where: Online via Zoom
What: Develop your career skills, network with scientists, design solutions to real-world marine science and engineering issues with an Arctic theme.
Who: UK residents ages 14-19 years. Applicants from diverse backgrounds, lower income households or historically excluded communities are especially encouraged to apply.

NOC is only able to provide group work experience programmes on a cohort basis that include specific funded programmes and virtual opportunities. We are not able to provide one-to-one or bespoke work experiences. For more information, please contact outreach@noc.ac.uk.
