Biography
Marine geoscientist with over four years of post‑doctoral research experience, complemented by more than three years in offshore wind consultancy. Has led industry projects and coordinated technical developments.
Expertise includes integrated geological studies, geohazard characterisation, and risk assessment, supported by capabilities in seabed mapping, sediment dynamics, Quaternary geology, and seabed fluid‑flow assessment. Experienced in offshore surveying and data processing, including acting as survey chief scientist on several campaigns.
Currently an Applied Scientist at the National Oceanography Centre, focusing on transforming scientific knowledge into practical capabilities. This work spans offshore geological mapping and geohazard assessment to support challenges across the Oil & Gas, Offshore Renewables, and Carbon Capture and Storage industries.
