As Head of Stakeholder Engagement at the National Oceanography Centre, I work across public affairs, partnerships, international marine policy, public engagement and education, and events. My focus is on connecting NOC’s science, technology and expertise with the people and organisations who can use it, support it and help turn it into real-world impact.
I’m particularly interested in how we can strengthen the connection between ocean science and society: supporting better decisions, building productive partnerships, creating opportunities for innovation and investment, and helping ensure that knowledge of the ocean translates into action.
I’m also developing NOC’s regional stakeholder engagement across the Solent and Liverpool and the North West, alongside wider work to build the relationships and enabling environment in which ocean science can have greater impact.
